At Google, Josh works as a design director for AR and VR, helping shape the company’s design vision for emerging technologies.
As a founder of Soup (formerly Brute Labs), Josh has engaged in many projects pushing for social change in the Bay Area and around the world. Recently, Soup has refocused, now primarily concerned with increasing access to affordable housing and slowing the spread of gentrification.
Josh has been heavily involved in Eastside, a residential school for underserved students in East Palo Alto; WellDone, a nonprofit trying to improve access to clean water around the world by funding and facilitating well-digging projects, and Hattery, a non-profit design group for social change.
